Ganguly back in Indian Test squad

After nearly a year in wilderness, Sourav Ganguly made a dramatic comeback to the Indian Test team in the wake of the side's disastrous performance in South Africa and calls for bringing back experienced players.

VVS Laxman has replaced Virender Sehwag as the vice-captain of the Test side.

While Md Kaif, Ajit Agarkar and Suresh Raina made an exit, Gautam Gambhir and Zaheer Khan returned to the Test squad after a long break. Sreesanth and VRV Singh have also been included in the team.

The decision to recall Ganguly was taken by the national selectors, who, significantly, met BCCI President Sharad Pawar at his residence before their meeting to select the 16-member squad for the three-Test series against South Africa beginning on December 15.

Jessica Simpson upset over Sex Tape rumors

It seems that Jessica Simpson will soon be keeping the likes of Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton company, for rumours are abuzz that a sex-tape of the singer is about to hit the internet.

Apparently the tape, that features the ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star and her former hubby Nick Lachey, has landed in the hands of the very same people who also put Pamela Anderson and then hubby Tommy Lee’s romp on the net.

Rumours are also abuzz that the individuals are ready to keep the sex tape out of the public domain if Simpson agrees to cough up a certain amount of money.

A source revealed to Britain's Daily Sport newspaper that the ‘Public Affair’ singer is “horrified” that her name is being linked to a sex tape, for she had always been the epitome of “morals and principles”.

"Jessica is horrified her name and sex tape are being mentioned in the same sentence. She's always been a girl of high morals and principles," the Post Chronicle quoted the source, as telling the paper.

Kaun Banega Crorepati is coming back back early next year with Bollywood's biggest superstar Shah Rukh Khan replacing Hindi cinema icon Amitabh Bachchan as host.

The contract that Star has signed with Shah Rukh is for two seasons with an option to extend it further into a third season. Each season is for 52 episodes, which means that Shah Rukh has committed to shooting 104 episodes of KBC in all.

According to sources SRK will be be paid Rs 280 crore for Kaun Banega Crorepati’s next two seasons. Amitabh Bachchan, the previous host, reportedly received Rs 140-160 crore for 390 episodes.

Sujil Karmacharya, the front man of the 'Seasons' will be releasing his first solo album under the banner of Rebel Creation soon. But it does not mean that he has parted ways with his band. He states that the reason for going ahead with his solo venture is to experiment with new concepts. "Singing solo means I have the freedom to sing any genre of music and also see whether I can do justice with it. After this album is out, I will be working on Season's new release as well.

Muna Madan in Hong Kong

Nepali students in Hong Kong performed Muna Madan on the occasion of Laxmi Prasad Devkota's 98th birth anniversary on 22 October. Directed by Supriya Gurung, the play was performed in PK College.
